James Warrick of Clarks Summit, formerly of Scranton, died Monday March 12, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore. His wife of 46 years is the former Ann Chemchick.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late David and Ann Collins Warrick.
He was employed by Kane Warehousing for many years, also worked as a water tech and had various other jobs in the construction industry.
His greatest pleasure was derived by spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, he liked to play video games, and going fishing with them.
Also surviving are two daughters, Crystal Warrick and Amy Warrick, both of Clarks Summit; grandchildren, Kersten, and Kyle; sisters, Patricia Costello, JoAnn Warrick, Ruth Sangiuliano, Madeline Warrick; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter Kimberly; two brothers. David Paul, and William.
The funeral will be conducted Monday with a blessing service at 7:00 p.m. in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave. Family and friends may pay their respects Monday starting at 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore, Ave. Wilkes Barre, Pa. 18702.
